Kinetic Owl Pendant
Like light shining through a birch forest, this labradorite is unlike any other I’ve worked with. To bring attention to the stratification of the stone, I pierced a horned owl on one side, perched and peering through the trees. This pendant can be worn on either side and, instead of taking it off and turning it around, the wearer can simply flip the piece along the horizontal axis. The brace that holds the stone is 14k so that the piece will always retain its golden halo while the rest of the pendant will tarnish and age.
This pendant is hand-fabricated in sterling silver and has a large bail to accommodate any chain. However, the hand-dyed ribbon will come with it, as it’s meant to draw the eye to the flashes of warm tones in the labradorite.
